SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) is a K12 framework that can support educators in planning, teaching, and reflecting on their lessons. It was originally designed to help educators support English learners though the creators discovered the positive impact it had on all learners. Participants who attend this remote training session walk away being able to implement SIOP strategies and techniques that set all students up for success.
The Principles and Practices of SIOP II
This remote workshop gives teachers a deeper look at the SIOP framework and how it is used in K12 schools to plan, teach, and reflect on learning. By using model lessons, this interactive PD will help participants learn key SIOP strategies and techniques that can have a profound impact on student learning outcomes.
