Basic Course Format

  • Workshops are held on Saturdays from 9:00-12:00pm.

  • Lunch is from 12:00-1:00pm.

  • Lesson Planning is held on Saturdays from 2:00-5:00.

  • Practice teaching is 1-2 evenings per week from 6:00-9:00.

About the Schedule

  • Participants are divided into three groups (Tues/Wed/Thurs).
  • Each participant teaches a total of 6hrs and observes 30hrs of peer & trainer teaching.

  1. Class: Interactive workshop covering fundamental principles of language learning and teaching.
  2. Plan: Group lesson planning session where participants plan for their teaching sessions.
  3. Teach: Practice teaching sessions where participants teach ESOL classes and reflect on them.
