Why do I need a TESOL Certificate?

It used to be that being a native speaker with a pulse was all you needed to find a job in many parts of the world.  While unqualified native English speakers used to populate the ranks of TESOL teachers, this is no longer the case.

A TESOL Certificate shows a potential employer that you have an understanding of pedagogy, lesson planning, classroom management, and all of the other requisite skills that go along with teaching English to non-native English speakers.

Our TESOL Certificate also proves that you have successfully taught 6+ hours of teaching a real ESL class while supervised by a master teacher.  Only 3 other TESOL programs in the world can say the same thing.

Four Reasons Why Getting TESOL Certified is necessary:

John Kongsvik International TESOL Symposium
Most educational institutions require a TESOL Certificate as a minimal requisite.  A quick look at some of the jobs for teaching English overseas will tell you that.

1.  The chances are your dream job is also someone else's dream job are high;  that person already has a TESOL Certificate.  Put yourself on par with all of the other traveling TESOLers.
2.  Knowing how and knowing how to teach are not the same.  There's more to teaching anything than just being able to do.  Ask any educator, they will tell you it's rewarding but challenging.
3.  Getting trained in TESOL in our course will give you more confidence and competence than just downloading a how-to manual from Amazon.  You'll know you are giving your best.

Getting TESOL Certified is an investment that pays immediate dividends.  Visit Our Blog - Everything TESOL for more on this.
