Objectives Set #1

  1. Students will learn a bit about angles from today’s chapter that we’ll (fingers crossed) cover.
  2. SWBAT know all types of angles during this class.
  3. ​SWBAT understand corresponding, alternate interior and alternate exterior angles.
  4. ​BEOL, SWBAT identify corresponding, alternate interior -exterior angles with 90% accuracy.

  1. Students will comprehend the story that I read to them.
  2. By the end of the lesson, SWBAT summarize the plot in a paragraph, using 5-7 key features from the short story.
  3. By the end of the lesson, SWBAT know, pretty well, the story’s plot.
  4. I will read my students a story, and they will listen to it attentively.

Objectives Set #3

  1. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to write 8 sentences with subordinate clauses: 4 that need a comma & 4 that don’t.  
  2. I am going to really focus on punctuation so that students will be able to punctuate sentences correctly, something they really need.
  3. By the time this lesson is over, students will be able to use commas correctly when writing sentences in English.
  4. By the end of the lesson, students will get the gist of comma usage when using subordinate clauses (e.g. after lunch, we sleep).

  1. By the end of the lesson, students will know fractions, percents, and decimals in terms of what they are, what they do, and how we can use them in every day life.
  2. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to show equivalent values in fractions and percents when asking, “what the equivalent of (¼) in (%)?” and answering, “It’s equivalent is (25% percent).“
  3. I’ll take students through this lesson on relationships in math and how they are represented and exactly what they should mean.
  4. By the end of the lesson, students will read pages 73-76 and do the even math numbered problems on page 79, Part B. 

Objectives Set #5

  1. BEOL, SWBAT will know about clouds and their importance to life on earth.
  2. Students will know all of the terms associated with clouds and their scientific characteristics that are specific to them in some way.
  3. Students will draw the clouds based on a fond memory they've had or imagine having.
  4. BEOL, SWBAT identify a Cumulus, Stratus, Altostratus, Cirrus clouds and state why using 1-2 attributes per cloud.

  1. By the end of the lesson, students are going to know the parts of a cell and what each does with 80-100% accuracy.
  2. By the end of the lesson, I will have taught the Periodic Table of Elements.
  3. By the end of the lesson, students will identify the 9 principle parts of a cell and what each does by stating, “this is the ______ it’s responsible for _____.”
  4. By the end of the lesson, students will understand what the Periodic Table of Elements does and how it can help scientists in today’s world.
