Get TESOL Certified and start teaching English overseas

Graduates from the SIT TESOL Certificate course can be found teaching in English language programs for adults in the USA. They can also be found teaching English overseas in private and public schools and institutions.

Some prefer short-term employment such as intensive language programs or specialized opportunities. These typically last anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months.

Other TESOL graduates seek longer-term employment. Many schools and language institutes look for teachers who are willing to commit to a year or more.  A good number of schools offer bonuses for those teachers who sign another contract.
There are also part-time TESOL positions for those people looking to supplement their income or traveling funds. In this field, there is room for every person and their dream.

For people who have skills in other professional fields {business, law, nursing, etc}, an SIT TESOL Certificate gives them an opportunity to teach English for Specific Purposes (ESP).

When deciding where to teach English overseas, the name of the game is information. The more you empower yourself, the greater the chances that your expectations will be met.  You have to peruse the blog, EVERYTHING TESOL.  It's packed with information.

During the SIT TESOL Certificate course, we time explore the overseas job market, how to find a job teaching English, what to look out for, and what to consider. Participants leave our course empowered, excited, and read for a career teaching English to non-native English speakers.

Now is the time to get TESOL Certified and start teaching your way around the world!  Contact us now for more information.  John Kongsvik will answer any question you have about the field of TESOL.
